Hi reading coors! here are the guidelines for our Book Parade EVENT: BOOK PARADE and CHARACTERIZATION Guidelines: 1. PARTICIPANTS 1.1. The contest is for grades IV and V pupils. 1.2. Participating district is allowed to have only one entry. 1.3. Each entry should have ten (10) pupils including the human props. 1.4. Dialogue must be dubbed. 1.5. Entries may capture a scene or use their own imagination to depict any scene to highlight the assigned Disney story to portray. 1.6. Each entry is given three (3) to five (5) minutes to perform. One (1) point per minute shall be deducted for overtime. 1.7. Only three (3) coaches are allowed. 2. JUDGING Criteria for judging: • Relevance to the theme 30% (Disney story, music, ambiance and set-up should be observed) • Characterization/Portrayal of the character 35% (Look-a-like of the main character; In actions and in facial expressions) • Creativity: Costume, music and Props 35% (Appropriateness of the costume/s is/are suited/fitted to the character/role portrayed. The dubbed sound effects are synchronized to the actions/scenes) ___________ 100%
