Hi, thank you for adding me. My college piano professors were Dr. Alexandra Pierce - U of Redlands, CA; Daniel Pollack, USC; Raymond Dudley - Cincinnati Conservatory of Music; Madame Olga Conus (Russian School) - CCM; Richard Morris - CCM (Vengerova tradition). My husband has edited a piano technique book, which will be revised in the near future - Fundamentals of Piano Technique by Leon and Olga Conus. My husband is Dr. James McKeever, DMA - CCM; we both are on the faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. We inherited the rights to the Conus exercises when Madame Conus died, Summy Birchard managed to get them from us, Alfred Music just recently gave us the rights back - Jim is starting work on a new edition. Most of these teachers I have had are connected to the Russian School of Piano Technique/Performance. However, Dr. Pierce provided me with a very lyrical approach to playing the piano, movement exercises, rolfing, strong music theory as she is a prolific composer, etc. I feel blessed to have this background and am very interested in learning more here...
