Hi there - Im trying to record sensor data from my Arduino into audio buffers. So I collect the floats from my Serial port, record them as typical into buffer~ objects, and am playing back with sfplay~, the playback is pretty horrible, Either the samplerate seems to be off, or perhaps the fact that Im throwing something with massive amounts of numbers at humble little data display patches is causing everything to slow down in order to deal with the influx of numbers. So maybe I shouldnt be using sfplay~ for multichannel playback? Or.... In either case, does anyone have experience with this kind of data recording? I saw Eric Lyons kbuffer~ object but the help file is.......not as helpful as I would have hoped :) Thanks :)
