Hi there. I just wanted to take a minute and explain all that is going on with Georgia Kate right now. Let me start with the good! Georgia Kate is the happiest toddler I know. She has her daddys personality and is as laid back as can be! Go with the flow little girl. Also she is talking up a storm. Her vocabulary is incredible. Her favorites right now are Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Peppa Pig, and Dora. Her little imagination impresses me daily. Ok, now for the not so great things. We have had a pretty rough time with her eyes lately. It seems as soon as we clear up one the other acts up. Right now we are struggling with both however. Her right eye had a partial graft several months ago and it has cleared the eye somewhat. Her left eye which was transplanted in November was clear until last week when she had scar tissue removed from her lens implant. After that surgery her cornea quickly became hazy. We arent sure as to what is going on but praying in clears. She will see Dr Hamill on Wednesday and I pray he doesnt say the dreaded words Graft Failure. I am so sick of those two words. However I am prepared as in my heart I know that it is the most likely of diagnosis. I want to thank you all for your prayers. They are the rock on to which we rely on.
