Hi there Im back for one last time to give my account and thoughts on MIND OVER MATTER When I was picked for this experiment I was nervous to say the least.Would I be able for it,would my body be able for it and would I be able to complete it .These were all the questions that i was asking myself.Once we got started I settled into the training and started to enjoy it. The training was tough and intense, there were days when my body was sore and days where I got home from work and did not feel like going training but always did.I give it 100% in every training session and emptied the tank. It took a bit to get my food right but when i did it got easier and I dont intend on letting it slip.I learnt a lot on the nutrition and how to control it. We completed our first challenge last Sunday and that was climbing Carrauntoohil which was very enjoyable.I always thought about doing it but never imagined I actually would and hope to do it again in the future.Our next challenge is a 21km run/walk next Saturday.I never would have even dreamed about attempting something like this before mind over matter selected me. So what has it done for me?Im back training and enjoying it.Im fitter in both body and mind and have a lot more energy.It has really proved to me that if you put your mind to something you can achieve it and no one can stop you only you. I must compliment the other warriors on their commitment and drive to this experiment.Well done people now lets see it out to the end. I want to say a big thank you to Barry on his professional leadership and keeping us all on track to achieve the most we possible could from MIND OVER MATTER (you owe me a pint for writing this about you lol)
