Hi there! Im so excited to have found this page. Im just going through an extremely tough time. Im 21 years old and 11 weeks pregnant with baby # 2. I have a 5 year old little boy, his dad isnt exactly involved but after involving court, he now pays child support. For baby #2, I dated the dad for a couple months, thought things were going great besides the couple of disagreements we had. And then out of no where, he told me he wanted to end our relationship. The fights were too much for him and he just wasnt happy to be with me. He admitted to leading me on this whole time. He would say things like I love you and Im excited to start this family life with you, all I want is you. yada yada. But they were all just words, words to keep me comforted. Im hurting horribly right now, I was ready to give up everything to make this relationship work but it failed anyways. He says he still wants to be friends, and stay involved for the babys sake but I learned with my first one, that things dont always work out that way. He says he wants to be involved now but he didnt hesitate to hurt me the way he did. How can I be friends with someone like that? Is it selfish? Or should I just tough it out and keep him involved. Everyone I know is telling me to ditch him. All I need are my kids, my friends, and my family and if he really wants to be involved hell fight for it. Im battling with my emotions right now. Id love to get some advice. Thank you.
