Hi there everyone, I have a dog roxy with addisons, she was diagnosed about 5 years ago now, she also has diabetes insipidus, which I was told on rare occasions dogs will get these two illnesses at the same time. Both these conditions are well controlled. Im wondering does anyone else have dogs that have problems with thin skin to their pads? I have often thought this is due to her preds, but the vets dismiss this as it is not always a problem, other thoughts have been the salt out at winter, which I was happy thinking this untill now and again you has problems in summer also..... It creates sores and cuts and skin to disappear in all her pads... I have to walk her on grass only at these times and homemade paw covers and sudocrem helps when she is at her worst, but just wondered of anyone else has ever associated this with addisons?
