Hi there everyone. Laurel turned 8 months this past week! How time flies! I know its been a long time since we posted anything; theres not been a ton of changes. Laurel continues to do well. She is growing quickly and is full of energy, personality, and surprises! She loves to roll over (and does so to reach goals and toys), eat solid foods (especially oatmeal and applesauce), and is just about ready to start sitting up on her own. At her last weigh in, she was 14lbs 14.5oz, and that was more than 2 weeks ago! Shes in a solid 6 months clothing size, and is continuing to grow like a weed! Shes started sleeping in her own crib in her own room every night. Areas where we could continue to use prayer is for her to continue to be healthy. Colorado has had a rather intense outbreak of enterovirus, which has been sending children to the hospital. Its been one of the worst cold seasons Ive seen in years, and its only just begun. The adjustment to going on lock-down mode is going to be a hard one; we tend to get stir crazy staying in the house for just a day or two. Were trying to limit Laurels trips outside the home to keep her from being exposed to any illnesses. Please pray for her and the rest of our family to remain healthy. In all of this, you can help, too. If you become ill, please do your part to limit your exposure to the outside world. Even a case of the sniffles could be bad news for children with weakened immune systems! Thanks so much for your thoughtfulness and continued prayers. Well be in touch!
