Hi this is a behavioural question - any help would be appreciated (or a more appropriate fb/website) My dad recently took on an ex-stud dog called Banjo - he is a 5 year old cocker and has spent the first 5 years of his life living in a house with around 14 other dogs - My dad lives alone and Banjo absolutely adores him - the problem is he cannot be left without getting distressed and constantly barks (even if my dad goes to the toilet!) Another dog isnt the answer as it wouldnt work for my Dad but Im sure there must be a tried and tested method out there to help? just as a note, unlike most dogs he isnt really food driven so a bone etc doesnt really distract him enough - thank you in advance
