Hi to All! We will be running our last event of 2014 this coming Sunday on the lot J of the MetLife Stadium with the onsite registration open at 8 am. The forecast keep changing but it looks more and more like dry, partially sunny and somewhat colder day in high 40s - low 50s, which will help to make more power for engines and reduced tire traction will make it more exciting! Saturday night should be still rainy, so if you wake up on Sunday morning and see the grey skies and wet asphalt - dont automatically assume that event is cancelled or will be bad for autocrossing. The sun will come out and the pavement will dry out by the time we are ready to run. Make sure you dressed for the weather - warmer jackets advised! With the tight group of around 70+ cars projected we should have a nice and well flowing event of 8 or more runs per driver. We would only cancel in case of storm similar to Sandy or few inches of snow on the ground - none of which seems to be in the forecast. If NYC can run a marathon, we can run an autocross. Michael G.
