Hiding from Lexi Most dog fights, or in fact most reactivity issues happen based on sight, not smell. A dog sees something and responds immediately and explosively without a pause. But once a dog uses its sense of smell, that whole meet and greet experience slows down and is far less likely to go south. So hiding from Lexi might look like a pointless game but I do this a lot with my pack. The dog who finds me first, or something Ive hidden is not the fastest dog, or the one with the best eyesight. Its the dog who can slow down, keep a calm head and use his nose. So thats exactly what Im forcing Lexi to do.
