High Court had ordered to install CCTV cameras in Delhi a long time back. It is only being done now when Mr Obamas security is the concern. As long as it is Indian citizens security, who cares? Though the step of installing 15000 CCTV cameras is commendable and blaming this government for the previous governments lax measures is also wrong, but this whole frenzy of updating security systems and bettering roads and infrastructure only when a foreign high official visits our country, is plainly pseudo-exhibitionist and tells us so much about Indias mentality.
