High Intensity Interval training (HIIT) is great for Fat Loss. But not everybody should do it. I myself love doing it but I understand that not everyone is in a healthy position to start destroying their body to the max as it will have adverse effect and can cause fat gain and worse energy levels. Before commencing HIIT I would suggest you eat a Paleo style diet full of meat and vegetables. Then you need to ensure your recovering by getting adequate sleep and reduced stress levels.
