Tideswell/Litton residents who are referred for help would have the option of using either Buxton or Hope. Anyone who would like to donate items can leave their contributions in a box at the back of St John’s Parish Church in Tideswell. All non-perishable food and toiletries are welcomed, but the current need is particularly for pasta sauce, tinned meat, tinned vegetables (except peas), breakfast cereals and UHT milk. They are also short of toilet rolls and large-size disposable nappies. Buxton Food Bank is based at the United Reformed Church, Hardwick Square East. They would welcome volunteer helpers for any weekday 4pm-5.30pm, call 01298 73313 or email lizzie.highpeakfoodbank@gmail
