High School Daily Bulletin - Friday, April 4 Advisory today: For grades 9 & 10. Just Write competition Winners: The English Department would like to thank everyone who entered this years Just Write competition. The entries were all high quality pieces of writing. INTERACT - URGENT: Interact finance committee leaders are requested to meet briefly with Mr. Bissmeyer during activity time or during their free time today. Rugby: All HS rugby players who are participating in the weekend clinic will be excused from class at 2:45pm on Friday. The rugby clinic begins at 3pm on the lower field, so athletes must hustle down, change quickly and be on the bleachers by 3. Recital: The MS/HS Recital will be on May 20 from 5:00--6:30pm and the ES Recital from 2:00--3:30pm on May 21. GINtalks: We are showing Jane Goodallís new movie Chimpanzee on April 24th at 6:00pm in the HS MPR. Please come out and learn about the GRASP project and all that Jane Goodallís project is doing for the conservation of apes! Found: Phone. Please pick up from the office if yours. Repeat Announcements: The high school spring production is here!! All in the Timing consists of 6 comedic one-acts by David Ives. Come support your friends, and enjoy an all around good time. Performances are this Thursday, Friday & Saturday night at 6pm. Tickets on sale in Art Building foyer. Art Exhibition: You are invited to the IB Visual Art Senior Exhibition March 31-April 4. The opening reception is Friday, April 4, 5:00 - 6:00. Mark your calendars for the opportunity to see some exciting work and speak to the creators about their messages and their processes. Have a bit of finger food and tea or coffee while you view the work. You may enjoy the work a bit longer or take in a series of one-act plays, All In The Timing, in the theater beginning at 6:00. Take part in two exciting writing competitions: The Golden Baobab Prize for Rising Writers (for African writers) and the Commonwealth Essay Writing Competition (for Commonwealth writers).
