High School Football In North New Jersey is extremely interesting in 2013. #1 in New Jersey St. Joseph Regional defeated #5 Bergen Catholic, 49-6. Bergen Catholic is 1-3 this season. #6 DePaul upset #4 Don Bosco, 35-25. DePaul is 2-1 and Don Bosco is 1-3. Don Bosco has dropped five of their last six games including end of season in 2012. DePaul which lost to #3 Nationally- Paramus Catholic, 35-21. DePaul proved they are a top team in North Jersey high school football. #3 in The USA Today Poll-- Paramus Catholic went to Ohio to take on traditional national and state power, St. Ignatius. Paramus Catholic defeated St. Ignatius, 44-10. They did it without Jabrill Peppers, a Michigan recruit for most of the first quarter. Madison, the #2 team in the NJ Small School Top 15 Poll and who had a 39-game win streak, lost to unranked Hanover Park, 27-7.
