High pressure and clear skies will prevail tonight, with lows in the mid/upper 40s. Low pressure will begin to approach the area on Monday, raising the chances of afternoon showers. Highs will still be in the mid to upper 60s, but a southeast wind will make it cooler near Lake Michigan. Showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely Monday night mainly north of Madison and Milwaukee as warm air surges into the region. Thunderstorms are possible on Tuesday afternoon along a cold front. A few of those storms could be severe.
