High school students will likely be celebrating this story. In a change of course, the State Board of Education has decided that the 10-point grading scale will apply to ALL high school students beginning next school year. 90-100 will be an A, replacing the current 7-point system in which an an A is 93 to 100. Originally, the State Board voted to implement the 10-point scale for incoming freshmen which meant that two students in the same course could have different letter grades for the same numerical grade.
