Higher Everyday A CANDIDATE FOR MIRACLE “Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.” (Isaiah 8:18) God specializes in working signs and wonders in the lives of His children. Miracles are to supernatural interventions of God in the course of nature. It is not magic — the deceptive manipulation and distortion of reality. Miracles come from God. Whereas, magic is one of Satan’s devices to counter the truth of God’s miracles. When God began to perform signs and wonders in Egypt, Pharaoh’s magicians attempted to contradict the reality of God’s miracles. They failed woefully (Exodus 7:8-12, 19, 20, 22; 8:5-7, 16-19). No force on earth can stop God from fulfilling His plans and program for His people. Ultimately, God will always have His way (Exodus 14:18-31). No one will stop you from receiving your miracles in Jesus name. Every sincere child of God is peculiar and special before Him. Believers are more than precious jewels of great price in God’s sight. As a true child of God, you are marked for miracles this year. God has spectacular miracles attached to your name. Do you need miracles in your academic work, finance, health, and family, amongst others? Whatever your needs, God has already made provision for them. Your miracle is certain this year if you will go for it by accepting it, believing it and confessing it till you realize it in your life. You are a candidate for miracles. Praise the Lord! Challenge: Miracle is possible for every child of God. Prayer: Heavenly Father, give me my miracles today in Jesus’ name.
