Highland Middle School eighth-graders are going to learn about high school first-hand today when Libertyville High School students visit and talk honestly about high school life. We are having an assembly today where LHS is coming over to speak to the 8th graders, said HMS Dean Meagan Dwyer. The LHS club ACE and LINK crew are combining to send a well-rounded group of students to address high school fears/anxieties and plant the idea of what a day in the life of a freshman is like. The 8th graders have submitted questions to be answered as well. Its a beautiful thing when two school districts work together for the wellbeing of our students!
