Highland and Moray Native Pony Performance Awards commenced in 2014 and was originally for Highland Ponies in the area. I have been asked by owners of other native breeds to expand the criteria, so I have done just that. Highland Ponies will have their own section. Should their be enough entrants, other breeds will also have their own sections or will be merged into large and small breeds. I have also allowed Haflingers being a native breed albeit a Scandanavian. I have approached various potential sponsors who have been very supportive and in January 2015, the cards will be available. Cost is £5 per pony and rider combination. Cheques to be made out to M Page. If anyone would like to sponsor a class or knows of a company who would consider sponsoring a class or donate a trophy, please message me with the information. In-hand and all ridden competitions results can be included. Only owners that reside in Highland and Moray can enter. The competitions can be outwith the areas. I am also open to ideas and amendments should they arise. This is a friendly competition and relies on honesty of competitors. Phone numbers for secretaries should be included if at all possible.
