Highlight of the day/restored my faith in the Australian public: We were at fort scratchley Newcastle and the boys were picking out trinkets to take home. Morgan wanted to get a key ring with a old bullet on it. I was explaining he couldnt take it to school because we have kids who our refugees and it might be scary/ traumatising for them. So pick something else. The older lady behind the counter said. Arent you lucky to have refugees in your school Yes we should be grateful for the diversity in our country and the wonderful things that refugees bring to share with us.
