Highlighting two of our Celebrity Guest Honorees for the Dare To Dream Music Festival happening Saturday April 26 at the Thousand Oaks Teen Center: Drew Seeley and Brandon Slavinski! Producer/Songwriter Brandon Slavinski and Emmy nominated musical artist, performer, actor and entertainer Drew Seeley are being honored as our first ever Fire Starter Recipients! A “Fire Starter” ignites people’s dreams and aspirations. They blaze their own trail and encourage those around them. They are not only concerned about themselves, but they constantly lend a hand to those in need. Whenever people leave their presence they feel motivated and uplifted, ready to begin again. Brandon Slavinski began his professional career in Florida writing & recording music with his rock band for 5 years, works with Actor/Pop-star Drew Seeley (from High School Musical/Another Cinderella Story/LoveStruck the Musical) on his debut album The Resolution. Brandon joined Drew Seeley in working with non-profit Music is Medicine to bring hope and a wish to a teenage girl with terminal cancer with the hit song Fly. He has worked with Riker and Rocky Lynch (R5, Hollywood Records), and has 3 songs on hold in the Latin America market (Warner Bros., Mexico). Drew Seeley co-starred in the North American and Latin American tours of “High School Musical: The Concert” playing in 60,000 seat arenas, and hes been on a national tour performing original music from his debut album ‘The Resolution’. He starred in Another Cinderella Story with Selena Gomez. Drews music is being played Radio Disney’s Top countdown, and he can currently be seen in Lovestruck opposite Chelsea Kane on ABC Family. Drew Seeley and Brandon Slavinski have been Celebrity Guest Judges for multiple Sade Champagne Presents events helping to raise funds and awareness for BrittiCares International to help children survive cancer and the Ive Got Skillz Talent Contest to empower and mentor up-and-coming aspiring performers. Thank you Drew and Brandon for being such an inspiration to me and many people all over the world! They have created a special surprise for the festival that will be shared with everyone in attendance :) The festival is from 5pm-10pm and we will be having surprise Celebrity Guest appearances all evening long!
