Highlights of September FTO Meeting – Send a message to us if you need details on any item. 1. BOX TOPS. Last year, we collected $900 worth of box tops. Please help us beat that number this year. This year, box tops contest will start October 1st and will end on October 25th. Go to boxtops4education/products/participating-products to see a complete list of participating products. 2. SMITHS FUNDRAISER. Please sign up for Smith’s fundraising and use it every time you shop at Smiths. You will soon receive an email from FTO with paperwork that details how to sign up. 3. TARGET FUNDRAISER. Please sign up to get a Red Card with Target. You not only get 5% off your purchases, our school also gets a percentage of your purchase as a donation. Go to Target for details. 4. ALBERTSONS FUNDRAISER. The front office has Albertsons keychain cards with our school’s number on it. Please pick one up from the front office and use it every time you shop at Albertsons. 5. TEACHERS’ LUNCHEONS. Be on the look-out from a parent in your classroom to collect $5 donation per each child to be used towards teachers’ luncheon. This is one of the ways that we can show our appreciation to our teachers. First round of teachers are Ms Laura, Ms TrishAnn, Ms Jennifer. 6. T-SHIRT SALES. Coming up soon. We will be selling T-shirts only during Fall semester. 7. BUMPER STICKER SALES. Ongoing. Please contact us if you want bumper stickers. $5 each. 8. FALL SQUARE DANCE. Tentatively set for October 18th. Please contact us if you can help organize this great event we all enjoy. 9. LANDSCAPE DAY. October 25th 8am to noon. Please help Kendra beautify our school grounds. She is amazing, but cannot do it all by herself. 10. POPCORN AT PICKUP. Our kids have enjoyed popcorn at pick-up many times. However, for this activity to continue, we need parent volunteers to pop, cleanup, and distribute. Popcorn at pick-up scheduled for Oct 3rd and Dec 13th. Sign-up sheets will be posted in the hallway. If we don’t get enough volunteers, we will not be able to continue this activity. 11. USED BOOK SALE. November 8th. Thank you Bella, Ling, and Katherine! More information to come soon. 12.
