Highly upset the copy of 12 Years A Slave is cut into two parts. But from what I saw it really puts me in some type of mode. Its motivating && inspiring as an African American I feel like our ancestors suffered and endured all of the pain for OUR GENERATIONS TO HAVE A BETTER LIFE, FROM SLAVERY TO THE CIVIL RIGHTS TO TODAY. THEY ENDURED PAIN FOR OUR FREEDOM, THE FOUGHT FOR OUR RIGHT. THE LEAST WE CAN DO IN THIS DAY && AGE IS EDUCATED OURSELVES && STRIVE TO CONTINUE ENHANCING ONE ANOTHER AS A PEOPLE. I KNOW I WILL. WE OWE IT TO THOSE WHO MADE A WAY FOR US TO LIVE FREELY && FAIRLY IN SOCIETY TODAY. GOD DOESNT GIVE YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN BARE. HE PUSHES YOU THROUGH THE OBSTACLES NECESSARY TO BUILD YOU INTO THE PERSON HE DESTINED YOU TO BE.
