Hills Brumbies would like to congratulate Greg Giovenali, a current first grade player, on being appointed to the role of Coach of our U14 side. Greg has spent 7 years playing Futsal with Lazio in Italian Serie A (2004-2011), is the current Australian Futsalroos captain and played in the FIFA Futsal World Cup in Bangkok, November, 2012. Greg is in his 5th year playing for Hills Brumbies and played as a junior for Blacktown City and Brumbies. Greg has held coaching roles for Dural Warriors U16 (2011 to present), Dural Warriors U14 (2012-2014) and U19s (2014-present), coached Castle Hill United Under 9 2010 (Undefeated Minor premiers and Grand Final Champions) and Under 10s 2011 (Minor premiers and Grand Final Champions) and coached the Lazio (Italy) C5 (yes futsal) U18s (2010-2011) and U16s (2009-2011). We welcome Gregs increased commitment to the Club as a coach and congratulate him on this step. Greg held level one and two coaches badges prior to his stint in Italy and will complete his C licence this year.
