Hillsborough Country Veterans Park had a great Vietnam Veterans Day ceremony today at the park on US-301 South of MLK and along the North shore of the Tampa By-pass Canal. We had a great attendance despite the weather. Rolling Thunder Florida Chapter 11 presented the colors and sat the table for the Missing Man Table Ceremony. Major General Dave Scott was the keynote speaker. We had a former Colonel in the South Vietnamese Army and his family who escaped South Vietnam after the fall of Saigon. The Last Patrol performed as the last SOG Team to conduct a final patrol after the Paris Peace Accords were signed in Feb 73. A great day for Vietnam Veterans. Many thanks to all responsible for todays ceremonies. Welcome home brothers and sisters.
