Hillwalk this sunday 10th November. Leave St Colms High School Draperstown at 09:30am. Below are a reminder of the rules of the walks to ensure everyones safety :) Ok so these are the rules of the hillwalking -: Have your own insurance, neither landowners nor guides will accept liability for injuries. Wear suitable clothing. Many light layers are better than one heavy coat. Complete waterproof outfit. Weather can change suddenly on the hills. Proper walking boots. Trainers are too dangerous on wet ground. No denim. Disastrous when they get wet. Bring lunch and plenty to drink. Leave no trace. Even bio degradable items to be taken home. No dogs on open mountain land. Acceptable on forest paths. (we will state if each walk is suitable for dogs) All walkers MUST stay with the group at all times. No running, especially downhill 90% of hill walking incidents occur on down hill slopes.
