Hindu Council UK said it was very comfortable with the description. The Muslim Council of Britain said the UK was a largely Christian country. Polly Toynbee, her fellow fiction writer Terry Pratchett and the other poor liberals dont even have the supposed marginalised on their side! As we have seen with Muslims and Christians protecting each other during their respective prayer times in Egypt, faith can bring together, faith can encourage cooperation. The left seem to want to depict different faiths as hostile armies ready to marginalise and offend each other at the drop of a hat for the convenience of their own nonsensical, anti-traditional propaganda. The truth is that, in this country at least (excluding the BNP, the EDL, Islam4UK etc.!) we have moved on. The left, then, are not defending the marginalised, but their poor deluded selves. As with many things, the left seems to think that if it says something enough times, and declares opposition to its views as racist, islamophobic etc., it will somehow become reality. God might have said let there be light, and there was light (Im not a Catholic literalist, but He might have done = post wars of religion tolerance right there ;) ). But this curious club of fifty extremists, who no-one has ever heard of, can scream Britain is an atheist europhile republic as much as they like - they wont speak or shriek their utopia into existence. Amen! bbc.co.uk/news/uk-27105023
