Lots of children in Bangladesh are orphaned due to poverty and are deprived of education, nutrition and citizen rights of the country. Besides, they struggle for survival and scarcity of food which sometimes make them violent. They grow up without care and shelter, even they beg for leading their daily life. Bangladesh is a densely populated country which has a large number of people who live in extreme poverty. A very kind, sympathetic person Nityananda Goswami Nayan who lives in the village Durgapur, one of the remotest area of Bangladesh, has established an orphanage with the aim to provide home, food, education and entertainment to the deprived children so that they grow up to lead a normal life and become good citizens of Bangladesh. Durgapur is a sub-district of Netrokona situated around the floor of the Garo hills. It is the northern region of Bangladesh which is mostly populated by ethnic and religious minorities (Hindu). Nityananda Goswami Nayan lost his parents at an early age. From his childhood he faced lots of obstacles meanwhile he took his graduation and became a school teacher. He was kind and sympathetic to the abandoned, homeless and orphan children. He always thought that he has to do something for these children. Finally, he decided to sacrifice himself and his father’s property for these children. He resigned from the school and donated his father’s property to the orphanage. Now, Manab Kalyankami Anatalaya is recognized as the centre for the destitute. #ContactAddress: Manab Kalyan Kami Anathalaya (MKKA), Village: Chandighar, Post Office Chandighar, Sub-district: Durgapur, District: Netrokona, Country: Bangladesh. #ContactPersons: Nityananda Goswami Nayan (Founder) Mobile: 088-01715752270, E-mail: manab_kallayan@yahoo #BankAccountDetails: (i) Bank Name: Sonali Bank.
