Hindugeopolitcs has been in contact with the Yezidi community in Denmark. Mr. Maraz K. Mourad is a young Danish Yezidi who helped build the organization “Support the Yezidies in Shingal” (STØT EZIDIER I SHINGAL), a charity group which has sent over 200.000 kr to the Yezidi living in Iraq. The group also hosts cultural events such as Christmas celebrations (Jesus plays a role as a prophet in the Yezidi religion) to maintain Yezidi tradition among the youth and raise funds for further relief work. Like the Yezidi organizations of Sweden (Yezidiska), this Danish Yezidi group is dedicated to honest relations between Hindus and Yezidi which do not rely upon cultural dilution of the Yezidi or their subsumption into Hinduism via devious proselytization methods. Like the Yezidi in Sweden, this Danish group is dedicated to asserting Yezidi identity and nationhood (Ezdistan); creating an alliance with Hindu forces to fight a common enemy and build a lasting partnership between Hindus and Yezidis as separate peoples. #VivaEzdistan
