Hinduism is not a religion. It is a way of life. It is an ideology - TopicsExpress

Hinduism is not a religion. It is a way of life. It is an ideology that is practised by the majority in Hindustan. The word Hindu is derived from the Hindukush mountains. the inhabitants south of the Hindukush mountains are called Hindus. Nowhere in the various ancient texts does the word Hindu ever appear. The religion is essentially the Sanatan Dharma. Hindu and Hinduism are a way of life that originated in ancient India which allowed multiple beliefs and religions to coexist in harmony. The Persians - Parsis of today, the Mughals, and the Christians all came from outside and adopted the land south of the Hindukush as their home. Whoever came in love and peace was welcomed and adopted. Whoever came to wage war and cause destruction was thrown out (Alexander of Macedonia and The British Empire both distinct cases in point). Our people know whom to keep and whom to reject. The polity has given its mandate . Bluff-masters and frauds will not be spared. Let all detractors who use these pseudo-secularist divisive methods be warned that their discourse has no relevance or meaning for Indians. There is no minority and no majority. We are and will remain one nation and one identity: Indians.
