Hip flexor injury may sideline Jets kicker Nick Folk The Jets have trouble putting points on the board, and now they may not have kicker Nick Folk for Sunday’s game against the Vikings in Minneapolis. Coach Rex Ryan said Tuesday Folk has a hip flexor-injury. Folk missed two field goals in the Monday night 16-13 loss to the Dolphins. He made field goals from 40 and 45 yards, but missed from 45 and 48. He has made 20-of-24 field goals this season. “I really haven’t talked to Nick about when this thing happened, when it occurred,’’ Ryan said Tuesday, noting he had just found out about the injury. Ryan was not sure which hip Folk injured. The Jets worked out a kicker, Andrew Furney, and two punters, Jacob Schum and Kasey Redfern, but those workouts were scheduled weeks ago. In other injury news, defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson (toe) is out of his walking boot and is expected to play after missing Monday’s game.
