Studon Electric & Controls is currently hiring hard-working, committed Maintenance Electricians Term: On-going Maintenance work Hours: Minimum 40/hrs week # of Vacancies: 5 Wage: $44/hour Location of work: Cold Lake and West Area, Alberta Requirements: • Journeyman Electrician, with 3+ years of experience • Prior to commencing employment candidates must have H2S Alive, Standard OSSA Fall Protection and Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) certificates (asset upon application) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Committed dedication to safety; reflected in practice and experience • A team player with strong people skills • Experience within Industrial/Oil & Gas facilities is an asset Job Description: • Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels • Connects power cables to equipment, such as electric range or motor, and installs grounding leads • Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair electrical equipment, electric components & electric controls • Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system, following installation, replacement or repair STUDON offers an attractive compensation package that includes competitive wages, health and dental benefits, employer contributed RRSP and an opportunity to apply your skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.
