This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful company that specializes in Commercial Diving and Civil services for marine construction, structural inspections, underwater welding, underwater mapping, and salvage projects. The purpose of this role is setting and managing the strategic operational direction as the company steadily expands. They seek a visionary leader with the following profile: Position Responsibilities: Strategy Organize and Chair strategic planning meetings within the company for business development initiatives, sales activity, partnership and acquisition prospects Identify industry trends and Business Opportunities establish marketing and action plans Finance Prepare financial forecasts to support Business Plan Develop and manage budgets Monitor cost versus budget on all projects, intervene when projects are not meeting targets Operations Provide operational objectives For Managers. Responsible for preparation and implementation of special projects/ IMCA qualification for the company. Allocate resources to Group Managers for projects, determine which activities should be completed in house and which should be outsourced Ensure Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental requirements (legislative and company requirements) are met Identify areas for improvement; develop action plans and implement changes Sales and Marketing: Pursue market opportunities for growing the Business. Implement marketing plans to support growth objectives Review and approve client proposals, ensure service offerings and budgets are profitable, participate in contract negotiation as needed Establish positive, prosperous relationships with clients Ensure clients receive premium quality services in a safe and timely manner Human Resources: Provide performance feedback of direct reports on a regular basis Ensure appropriate personnel resources are in place, coordinate recruiting for the business unit as needed, participate in interviews, candidate selection, and hiring packages Review staff compensation in conjunction with the President and HR / Finance on an annual basis, or as required for changes in responsibilities Company: In exchange for the above, you will be provided a solid base salary and annual bonus incentive.
