Job Purpose: Owns, manages and communicates the sales team strategy: Set sales team Procedures and Strategy: • Formulates and maintains KPME Sales Standard Operating Procedures. • Sets and controls proper territory coverage, key account strategies, call procedures, frequency of visits to ABC type of customers, and drives sales activities to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales force. • Formulates strategies and action plans to achieve KPME sales and margin objectives. Monitors sales team activity: • Collects & reviews sales managers and executive reports to optimize results. • Regularly conducts sales management meetings and business reviews to assess performance and drive results in line with KMPE financial goals and sales objectives. Leads and develop team performance: Key Account development, Team management, Assessment and Appraisal: • Develops and maintains solid and long term relationships with top strategic consultants, contractors, maintenance companies, project managers, construction managers, architects, MEP companies, builders, developers, interior design companies, etc. • Analyses accounts and their potential then assigns them among team members to leverage their strengths and achieves the expected sales results. • When applicable, increases product sales by ensuring adequate coverage and distribution. • Sets targets and reviews performance regularly - weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually. • Regularly analyze regional sales and evaluate territories achievements. Rewards good achievement. • Recommends and implements personnel movement such as promotions, transfers, disciplinary actions, suspensions and/or dismissals of any member of the sales force. Recruits and coaches their team: • Participates actively in the selection and recruitment of new sales staff. • Regularly accompanies sales executives to client meetings in order to assess, coach and develop the skills and performance of both sales managers and the executive. • Regularly accompanies sales executives to client meetings in order to assess, coach and develop the skills and performance of both sales managers and the executive. • Based on assessments, plans and conducts required sales training programs for sales force to develop skills, knowledge then cultivates competence and professionalism among the sales team. Achieve the above in line with Kansai Paint Middle East sales policies and strategies Duties include: • Plays an integral role in new business pitches and is responsible for the effective on-boarding of new clients • Responsible for the development and achievement of the country sales targets • Focuses on growing and developing existing clients and generating new business • Writes business plans for all current and opportunity tender business • Facilitates interface between the customer and all relevant divisions when needed. Requirements of the role: • Experience in managing major accounts and the tender process. • Engages with clients effectively and understands their current needs and future plans. • Understands Kansai Paint Middle East’s market share and strategies and that of its competitors in the territory. Requirements: Candidates must have similar responsibilities in the current or previous roles and have lived or currently living in KSA & Qatar. Education - Bachelor’s degree in engineering/architecture - masters preferred Experience - Minimum 5 years and up to 10 years in construction industry in preferably from the paint/coating industry.
