The Total Process Reliability Engineer will be responsible for increasing the run time of all operating equipment within the Field. This objective will be accomplished by understanding the equipment operating conditions, performing Root Cause Failure Analyses and improving the preventive maintenance procedures/timing of the operating equipment. Part of the job function will be document preventive maintenance timing and procedures along with their impact on corrective maintenance within Maximo. The Total Process Reliability Engineer will have detailed Maximo experience and lead the development of various preventive maintenance procedures, timing and job plans detailing the required material & tools, the potential job hazards, the energy control plan and the prescribed job procedure. In addition, the TPR Team will conduct root cause failure analyses, document the root causes in Maximo and make any necessary adjustment to the preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and maintain a safe operating environment. He must have experience performing vibration analysis and evaluating data. The Total Process Reliability Engineer will have the skills to determine the fitness for purpose of the various operating equipment and associated parts based upon specific equipment operating and repair history. The Total Process Reliability Engineer and staff will also work closely with Purchasing/Procurement to standardize equipment such that inventory levels of critical and consumable equipment can be optimized. The Total Process Reliability Engineer will consider impact of costs on recommended action plans for avoiding correcting problems during the design phase or remedial action for correcting reliability problems on installed equipment; and performs root cause failure analysis to help prevent failures.
