Hiring a Front-end Developer, Fenton, MO! Looking for really strong HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3 (primary function) Area really growing is JavaScript: JQuery, Angulary, JSON, Bootstrap, Responsive Build……most candidates have been lacking on the skill set side. Also, communication skills have been weaker on candidates thus far. These technologies will be under the JavaScript Area. Retrofitting web apps to be viewed on mobile platforms. Twitter Bootstrap Foundation….(rate 1-10 on JavaScript…needs to be at least a 7 rating). Can you write JavaScript from Scratch. Own JQuery, own JavaScript, etc. JSON---deals with how they get data on the backend and what they can do with it on visualization. Need the folks who can write this from scratch. Key skills that are a must: JavaScript, JQuery and Twitter Bootstrap (or JQuery Mobile), and Responsive Design a must. Angular, JSON…moving towards. Clients use any browser and device you can think of. Must look good on phones, tablets, Safari, Explorer, etc. Clients can be worldwide, so any/all platform browsers are needed….more the merrier. Need to be more “consultant-like”. Website examples necessary beforehand. WordPress Websites not what our customer is looking for. Not looking for automated code pulled from somewhere else. Need folks that are front-end developers. Not designer or backend. These folks will be on teams and feel comfortable in front of the clients, both with programmers and business folks.
