JOB SUMMARY Lead a team to develop processes, test procedures, scripts and tools to improve ecommerce web applications. Responsible for the continuous improvement of the quality of our global web applications. Work cross-functionally to communicate testing requirements for test environments. Maintain the integrity of technical quality control work. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee and coach QA Analysts in the development and execution of test plans, scalable testing approaches, test case scenarios, management and tracking of test execution and development of test-related project deliverables. Create and negotiate quality assurance strategies with stakeholders. Acts as a liaison with the business to develop appropriate testing strategies for applications, including creation and development of test scripts. Estimate task effort and dependencies and prepare test estimates. Manage the documentation of test plans and detailed test cases for all applications and ensure thorough compliance in tracking, logging defects and resolutions. Provide metrics and reporting on the content of test scripts to management. Identify and communicate risks and issues. Resolve any issues that are encountered during testing. Initiate risk management and escalation. Coordinates and monitors user acceptance training. Coach and mentor QA Analysts on correct processes and practices. Stays current on existing best practices and on emerging technologies. QUALIFICATIONS BS degree in Computer Science plus a minimum of 7-10 years of software QA experience. Comprehensive understanding of software quality development and implementation; thorough understanding of software inspection, testing, verification, and validation. Ability to work independently and successfully analyze and develop quality test programs that meet the needs of our company’s software products. Some leadership experience required. Knowledge of network infrastructure components and concepts. Demonstrated mastery of specific computer programming languages, testing tools, documentation methods, software testing methods, as required. Possess strong oral and written communications skills. Problem-solving and analytic skills. Have demonstrated the ability to lead and build a team that contributes to the overall quality and efficiency of the development process understanding the importance of delivering high quality product in a timely fashion.
