His Masterpiece The world is eventually going to hear and encounter the truth about God through His people. The revelation of Gods character in our lives is the ultimate end to which His grace is tending. Paul points out that the grace by which we are saved makes us into a masterpiece of divine artistry. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and. . .we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works (Ephesians 2:8-10). Grace is the active element here. By it we are saved. Then, under its influence, the believing human heart becomes Gods workmanship. Gods grace shapes and molds us into a divine creation of masterful beauty. We are His masterpiece in the making. It is our high calling and joyous privilege to be the grace-shaped masterpiece through which the world will come to see and love Him.
