“His disciples said to him, ‘How could we ever get enough bread in this deserted spot to satisfy such a crowd?’ Jesus asked them, ‘How many loaves of bread do you have?’” Matthew 15:33-34 We are very familiar with this miracle of the loaves that Jesus performed feeding thousands with such an insignificant amount of bread. How often I have wondered what great gifts I have to offer to God. My abilities just dont seem good enough. This passage makes me realize the power of our small gifts. Jesus could have just performed this miracle on his own, but instead, he chose to use what little someone else had to offer. What we have been given, we are to offer back to God, trusting that he will use our gifts to change the world. Dear Jesus, I offer you all that I have and possess.
