Currently working as Assistant Professor of History, Nizam College, Osmania University, Hyderabad. Awarded Doctorate in History by the University of Hyderabad for a thesis on `Representation of Women in the Miniature Paintings in the Deccan School.’ She was awarded a Major Research Project by University Grants Commission on Women in Medieval Indian History-A study of Miniature Paintings 16th to 18th Century A.D.
