History in Swiss? almost 20 years after the publication of my main book The New Experience of the Supersensible in 1995 (German translation 1997), I am invited by a branch of the General Anthroposophical Society, founded by Rudolf Steiner in 1923/4, to speak about this all important and central, most essential, Spiritual Event of our age. - its never too late, you may justifiably say!- and indeed, concerning such a subject matter, if we take seriously the fact that here we have to do with original, first hand and hence actual, spiritual-scientific research, what are 20 years, but- perhaps!- a humble beginning? :) To celebrate this remarkable event, I post here and in my blog the first passages from Chapter 7: Christs Appearance Between I and thou which is the subject of the Berns weekend: The New Experience of the Supersensible The Anthroposophical Knowledge Drama of Our Time Chapter 7 Christs Appearance Between I and Thou ... The modern Christ experience, as described in Chapter 4, is also the archetype and hidden ground of the new human meeting. The three stages of the meeting with the new Initiator are—on a different level- the same stages that are found in every spiritually awakened human meeting. ... surrounded and penetrated by the new Earth and Heaven of the earthly- human Sun, the awakened human meeting can acquire a potency and depth hitherto unknown in human history. In such a meeting every person that I meet is for me my initiator, bearing and suffering my cross, awakening me from my death of soul, profoundly teaching me my mysteries of evil, and gracefully blessing me with the mutual penetration and creative reversal of karmic responsibility.
