History of Hoaths Stock Horses. Hoaths Australian Stock Horses was founded in the early 70s by my partner John Hoath (or Pussy as he was fondly known)@ Dirranbandi, Q. He has produced some of the best ASHS bloodlines available. John was an early member of the ASHS and the ACA (number 083) and bred & competed on some very well bred & preformed horses over the years. John won the Nat Buchanan trophy for Campdrafting in 2009 on Warrenbri Clancy. He also won the Canning Downs in 2010 on Docs Legacy and has won and placed in many Campdrafts & Challenges as well as placings in the Gold Cup (On his great mare Hoaths Bounty)and finaling in either the Cannings, The Gold Cup & Stallion Draft every time he competed over the years. He was a big believer in the Reality bloodlines. Our bloodlines include mainly Romeo/Reality, Rivoli All Talk/Rivoli Ray & Comet. I am looking to breed some of these bloodlines to Quarter Horses to produce Challenge horses for myself as my passion lies there. We Bred Hoaths Peter by Warrenbri Romeo x Creswood Expression in 2010. Peter is a fine example of quality heritage and sought after bloodlines. He carries the magic cross of Romeo & Comet. Peter (named after Peter Knight, owner/breeder of Warrenbri Romeo)shows all the great attributes from his heritage background. He has the beautiful dappled bay colouring of his sire Romeo and the magnificent head of Rivioli Ray and showing ability & a cool, calm nature that will make him another great sire of the future. Conceived from semen that was declared lifeless our miracle was born. This colt was to be Johns own colt to make great but unfortunately he lost his battle with cancer in 2012 and never got to ride his colt. It was both our wishes that I carry on his legacy and continue to breed and compete on our horses.
