History of Karna Kayastha KarnaGoshthi website is about Karna Kayastha community. Karna Kayastha is one of the Kayastha community which mainly belongs to the Northern state of Bihar in India. Kayasthas are a highly educated caste/community in India. Although Kayasthas are present almost all over India, they are predominant mostly in northern states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh. The belief is that all Kayasthas are descendents of Shri Chitragupta ji Maharaj. Karna Kayastha is one of the Kayastha community which is present in Bihar mainly in Darbhnaga, Madhubani, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Saharsa and some neighboring areas. This community has undergone several ups and downs but today it is one of the most highly educated and a very successful community in Bihar.
