Hit and Run at Bud Miller Park Lloydminster, Alberta - On September 23, 2014, Lloydminster RCMP received a report of a red car drifting in the picnic area of Bud Miller Park striking a post. The car then fled the area, but was located by RCMP shortly thereafter. A 16 year old Lloydminster girl was charged with Failing to Remain at the Scene of an Accident, and Stunting. A court appearance was set for late October, 2014. Hit and run collisions are frequent in Lloydminster and drivers can avoid additional charges by remaining at the scene of a collision, said Constable Kirzinger. The RCMP would like to remind drivers they are legally obligated to report collisions with over $2000.00 damage to vehicles or property, and are also required to exchange information if another vehicle is involved.
