Hit report 20th of December 2014. The Flint and Denbigh met today at Henllan, quite a few riders out today, must be because its near Christmas and its ok to chase and kill wildlife at this time of year..... or something like that, who knows how their brains work? The hunt met at 11am, we parked up to watch, then a clever chap parked his car straight in front of and got out and walked off thinking hed blocked us in, and looked back in disappointment as we managed to get past. The hunt then headed towards Trefnant and Plas Heaton estate, where we came across whipper-in Josh who greeted us by calling us F***ing C***s... now now Josh, maybe you should have a good look at yourself? We drove around the other side of Plas Heaton and could hear the odd hound up near Plas Heaton Farm. We took the footpath up by Plas Heaton Farm, there we came across some supporters and a few riders and could hear Huntsmaster Jezza Scatterpack Reed in some nearby woods.... The hounds now went into full cry and a fox bolted hunt employees tried blocking our view but the fox run straight in our direction on through a hedge followed by the hounds, with us being there hunt employees and supporters had to now pretend they werent illegally hunting the fox and started shouting the hounds off... though the hunt had plenty of time to do this before. The fox went one way and the hunt took the hounds the other... Lucky fox! (see vid) The hunt then crossed the road to hunt on the Plas newydd side and down towards Dedwyddfa. Sabs followed by foot down the footpath, when hounds went into cry again and were seen running along the side of the woods, we believe they lost the fox this time and the cries soon stopped. The riders all stood around in the field near Perthewig farm (this hunt like to stand around a lot Id ask for a refund if I was them) We were met by a nasty old man holding a terrier who informed us he shoots pheasants round here so he doesnt want us spraying citronella and upsetting his dog!? The hunt stayed on this side for a while then crossed the busy A541 then the busy A525. Hounds went into cry again and shot across another road in Trefnant. With only a hand full of riders still out and rapidly going down we followed Scatterpack and Joshua down the road with the hound and back to the hound van.... Quite irresponsible taking the hounds down country roads in the dark but lucky we were close behind with our headlights on to warn oncoming traffic. Good day for sabs and foxes. Thanks again for all your kind donations it really does make a massive difference :) please keep sharing gogetfunding/project/fuel-fund-for-north-wales-hunt-sabs
