Hiya, Everyone-Mother is now in Richmond and is getting settled in. We visited today and things seem to be moving really quickly. I went with Daddy & Julie...the trip there and back was not bad at all. When we walked in, a speech therapist was with her and she had a cap over the trach that enabled her to talk! This made my heart so happy to actually be able to have conversation with her. I was told two days after the accident she would never breath well enough to be able to be off a vent. She has been off the vent now for over a week 😇😇😇 She was quite irritated with the way she left Florence, she says it was very disorganized...Ill take it. In my mind, emotion is GOOD!! While her doctor was in, he asked her to turn her knees in...she did it!!! Again, my heart was happy!! She still has no movement in her hands and arms and little in her legs. I had dinner with Paula last night...she is a fighter too!! She has started PT and says she is making out with it just fine. She is still in a great deal of pain, though...as for me, I am having a little difficulty having to return home tomorrow...I have gotten quite used to being with Daddy everyday...it has been so nice having him around me, despite the circumstances. Other than that, I will be just fine-I have one AMAZING husband, amazing uncle, and some pretty spectacular ladies as my rocks thru this, along with all the prayers from everyone of you- Here is the thing, God is GOOD and there are many blessings throughout this ordeal. I love you all and cannot really wrap my mind around all the kindness that has been shown to my entire family. Thank you for the prayers, love, & support.
