Hiya Santa Paws! Its me, your friend Denzel! Ive been hearing a lot of my shelter buddies talk about sending you your their Christmas wishes. I figured it wouldnt hurt to send mine to you as well! As you know Im an 8 year old Pit Bull Terrier whos journey to shelter life is a sad one, being abandoned by my family and all. Not unlike many of us here at Lakeland Animal Shelter. Each an every one of us deserves so much this holiday season, but most of all, we just want a home! A family! And a cozy place to lay our heads. I know Im a big guy, and I dont always present myself very well Im my kennel (I just want to get out and stretch my legs!) but really Im a big softy! I walk good on a leash and really love to give kisses and snuggle. I dont act like Im getting on in my years, theres still so much more to do and so much to explore! I would love a family that doesnt mind taking walks and then curling up on the couch afterwards (Im am ready guy to please). Im really good at all my basic obedience as Im so willing to please my people and am a star pupil in Lakelands Bright Futures class, must mean I have a bright future ahead of me right? (As you can tell Im a glass is half full kinda guy) Santa, could you please send my family my way!? I know they are out there and looking for me!
