Hiya one and all! Many thanks for allowing me to enter the walls of this very special page. Im not of blue blood but my wonderful Greenockian wife is. And like most of you I guess, she is bitterly disappointed that shes not able to vote (YES) tomorrow. As a way of compensation, she has been frantically Tweeting as many NO folk in Scotland as possible, trying to convince them otherwise. For those of you who havent thought of this, but would like to participate in a small but effective way, you could emulate Elaines amazing efforts tonight - if you have the time - which there isnt much of now. Having watched her over the past few weeks, I can tell you she has been able to convince quite a few Nae Sayers to change their thinking. I am very proud of my girl, and Scotland will be proud of her if her efforts pay off. Having been born in France to an American father and English mother, now living in Australia ...... I am as impartial as one can get with something like the Referendum. But even I can see how important independence is to a nations peeple! I firmly believe the country will be in an enviable position to create an even greater country than what it is now. After all, look at the things it has invented! But, have not been given adequate recognition other than on tea towels! This has been because you have lacked a bone fide identity. Your own identity. My opinion. Elaine is having Friday off work, with the Moet ready to be put in the fridge (not done yet, just in case the YES vote loses - superstitious!) Fingers crossed guys; this is squeeky-bum time as the great Scot Sir Alex Ferguson once said.
